You can use ANY type of cake mix for this. Just follow the directions on the box.
Make sure to use the cones with the flat bottom.
Use a disposable cupcake tin and cut an X in it.
Carefully roll the sides in to make a hole.
Your Ice Cream Cones should fit perfectly so that the bottom of the cone doesn't touch the bottom of the muffin tin.
Using a piping bag (I use a ZipLoc and cut the end off) and pipe the cake mix all the way to the bottom until it is even with the top, it will rise).
Bake according to box directions.
Here I tried two different ways. On the left I put the cake mix on the bottom and the cone on top of that.
The one on the left didn't really rise into the cone, leaving the bottom empty.
MAKE SURE THAT THESE ARE COMPLETELY COOLED BEFORE YOU ICE THEM.
