For the cake:
3 cups Original Bisquick mix
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup milk
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 eggs
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare a 9 x 13" dish by greasing (or spraying) and coating with flour. I used bisquick instead of flour.
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix with an electric mixer on high for about 1 minute or until most of the lumps have been broken down.
Pour into prepared dish and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes (mine was perfect at 32!)
For the topping, I simply quartered some fresh strawberries, added about 1 TBS of sugar and mashed them a bit with a mashed potato masher! I didn't have any whip cream though..
