PATTIES:
2 lbs. Ground Beef
1 Cup (crushed) French Fried Onions
2 Eggs
2 tsp Crushed Garlic
Salt and Pepper to taste
GRAVY:
2 Packets Beefy Onion Soup
4 Tbs Flour
4 Cups Water
1-8 oz. carton of Mushroom (quartered)
Mix all of the ingredients under patties, don't over mix, that makes beef chewy. Form into patties.
In a large pan, saute the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, remove from pan and set aside (this makes a pretty good resting period for the meat).
In the pan, saute the mushrooms in the drippings from the beef. Not too much though because they'll be going back in. Remove the mushrooms and place on paper towels. This will remove any excess grease.
Add the gravy ingredients to the pan (follow the directions on the box to make "Gravy".
Once thickened, place the patties into the gravy and simmer for about 5 more minutes or until they're heated through. Ad the mushrooms back to the pan and SERVE!!
