Slow Cooked, Beer Braised Western Ribs




Ok, so I was going to make you guys a "pretty picture", but it was clear to me that these bad boys weren't going to hold up to make it on the plate!  They were falling apart!!!!

3 1/2 lbs. Western Style Ribs (this would work with any cut)
1-12 oz. Can of Beer
1 - 18 oz. Bottle of BBQ Sauce (I use Sweet Baby Ray's)
Salt & Pepper

I sear my meat in olive oil before I slow-cook it.

Place ribs, seasoned with salt and pepper, into slow cooker along with beer (I used Bud Light).

Cook on HIGH for about 3-4 hours.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Remove ribs from the slow cooker and liquid and place on foil (I spray my foil), add BBQ sauce, liberally.  Bake in oven for about 20 minutes.. ENJOY!!!

SO TENDER!!!!!
