Not-so-Sloppy Joe's
Last night was a "Oh crap! It's dinner time!" kind of a night. This was SO easy and FAST!! My husband AND 3 year old loved them!!
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef, cooked, drained
1 can (15 oz) Manwich sloppy joe sauce
1 can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury® Grands!® refrigerated biscuits (I used Corn because that's what I had in my fridge)
8 Slices of American Cheese
Heat oven to 375° F.
In large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until beef is thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently; drain. Stir in sauce and simmer 5 minutes.
At this point, I let my mixture cool off so that I could handle it easily.
Press each biscuit into 6-inch round. Place one slice of American cheese in the middle of the biscuit and spoon about 2 tablespoons of meat mixture onto center of each round. Fold dough in half over filling; press with a fork to seal. I scored the top so that the steam could escape.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 9 to 14 minutes or until golden brown.
